On 19 June at 13:00 a cornerstone laying ceremony will be held for Galeria Neptun in Starogard Gdański. Cushman & Wakefield, a leading global real estate services firm, is the exclusive letting agent for the gallery.

Galeria Neptun is being developed on the site of the former footwear manufacturer “Neptun” at the junction of Pomorska and Jana Pawła II streets, in the centre of Starogard Gdański. The total floor area of the gallery will be 54,000 sq m, including around 25,000 sq m of leasable area. The project comprises two floors above ground and an underground car park with 618 car spaces. It is scheduled for completion in autumn 2014.

The representatives of the authorities of the Starogard Poviat and the neighbouring communes as well as the representatives of major public institutions in the region and companies involved in the project have been invited to the ceremony celebrating the official laying of the cornerstone.

“Galeria Neptun will be one of the most modern retail schemes in the region. We are in advanced talks with a number of tenants. All works are on schedule” – says Nikodem Bakun, Project Manager, Galeria NEPTUN Sp. z o.o. Sp.k.

Developer of the scheme is Galeria Neptun Sp. z o.o. Sp.k. from Starogard Gdański founded by the city’s entrepreneurs, Tomasz Pastwa and Mariusz Szwarc. General contractor is Dekpol Sp. z o.o.

“Negotiations with tenants involve now more than 50% of the shopping centre’s leasable space. The facility will accommodate around 150 retail units, including a supermarket, a cinema, a fitness club, and a foodcourt” – says Marek Noetzel, Partner, Retail department at Cushman & Wakefield.
