LPP S.A. has leased more than 3,100 sq m in the Galeria Neptun shopping centre, whose construction is underway in Starogard Gdański, for the stores of its five brands: Reserved, Sinsay, Mohito, House and Cropp. Cinema City Poland has also signed a lease with the developer. Cushman & Wakefield, a leading global real estate services firm, is the exclusive agent responsible for the commercialization of the shopping centre.

Galeria Neptun is being developed at the site of the former footwear factory Neptun at the junction of Pomorska and Jana Pawła II streets in the downtown area of Starogard Gdański. The two-storey shopping centre will provide 54,000 sq m, of which around 25,000 sq m will be available for lease, and an underground 636-space car park. It is scheduled to open in autumn 2014.

Gdańsk-based company LPP S.A. is a Polish fashion designer and distributor. Its retail chain comprises more than 1,170 stores located across Poland and ten other European countries. LPP S.A. has been listed at the Warsaw Stock Exchange since 2001.

Galeria Neptun will house stores of LPP S.A.’s five brands: Reserved (1,594 sq m), Sinsay (377 sq m), Mohito (375 sq m), House (378 sq m) and Cropp (378 sq m). Each will be a full-scale store meeting the brand’s standards and offering all the product lines.

Cinema City Poland has leased around 1,800 sq m in Galeria Neptun for its six-screen multiplex cinema which will accommodate around 1,000 viewers.

Tomasz Górski, a senior negotiator from the Retail Department of Cushman & Wakefield, said: “Talks with potential tenants intensified after the foundation stone for Galeria Neptun was laid in June 2013. The construction work running as scheduled, superb location, and prestigious and high-profile tenants who opted for Galeria Neptun one year ahead of its opening are all appreciated by the companies with which we are negotiating the lease of other stores.”

Galeria Neptun Sp. z o.o. Sp. k., a partnership set up by Tomasz Pastwa and Mariusz Szwarc from Starogard Gdański, is the developer of the scheme while Dekpol Sp. z o.o. is the general contractor.
