Cushman & Wakefield has been appointed as property manager of Multishop retail park in Sochaczew. On 23 November the scheme, which houses Tesco hypermarket and OBI home improvement store, will open its new extension to include 11 new stores.
Multishop retail park is located in Sochaczew, around 60 km west of the centre of Warsaw, near national road no. 2 leading to Poznan. The route has been partly improved to facilitate access to the scheme. The park offers car park for 600 spaces, providing direct entries to each store. Multishop Sochaczew offers a total of 20,000 sq m. The investor is McKinlay Development.
The construction of the scheme started at the end of 2011. Upon the completion of the third, final phase the scheme will feature 11 new tenants such as Jysk, RTV Euro AGD, Pepco, Deichmann, CCC, Takko, Martes Sport, Hebe and Olewnik as well as Kolporter newsagent’s store, a laundry and a butcher shop. They will occupy a total of less than 4,500 sq m.
“Multishop in Sochaczew boasts an excellent location and convenient transport links. New tenants will strengthen the park’s offer and enhance its attractiveness. The last few years have witnessed a growing developers interest in the development of retail parks, which are an interesting alternative to small shopping galleries in cities such as Sochaczew. We are pleased to have such a retail concept in our portfolio” – says Aneta Rogowicz-Gała, head of Property & Asset Management department of Cushman & Wakefield.
The Property & Asset Management department of Cushman & Wakefield will provide property management services for the owner of Multishop Sochaczew. C&W currently manages commercial properties totaling 500,000 sq m, comprising modern office, retail and industrial properties.
