Cushman & Wakefield, a leading global real estate services firm and the property manager of Metropolitan, one the most prestigious office buildings in Poland, together with the owner Aberdeen Asset Management Deutschland AG, has launched the Christmas Tree Project, a Christmas charity event.
The Christmas Tree Project is aimed at the building’s tenants, who will be able to bid for 8 Christmas trees decorated by the companies from design and florist sector among others. The trees will be displayed on the ground floor of the building (from the patio) on Piłsudskiego Square in Warsaw till 11 December. The following day they will be handed over to the winners of the auction.
The event focuses on raising money to refurbish a library in the Special Educational Centre for Visually Impaired Children No. 8 in Warsaw. This charity activity is part of the Schools Around the World programme (SATW) organized by Cushman & Wakefield since 2005, aimed to help widen the horizons of young people whose opportunities are limited by their domestic, social or financial circumstances.
“We warmly invite everybody who would like to see the Christmas trees and all employees and tenants of Metropolitan to bid for them. We hope the initiative will draw great interest and we will be able to raise a substantial portion of the funds to refurbish the library” – said Aneta Rogowicz-Gała, Head of Property & Asset Management department at Cushman & Wakefield.
