Cushman & Wakefield gears up for growth in Poland

Cushman & Wakefield, the world’s largest privately-owned real estate adviser, announced today that Piotr Kaszyński, Partner and previous Head of Retail Department in Poland, has been appointed to lead the firm’s Capital Markets team in Poland with immediate effect. At the same time Marek Noetzel, Partner and Deputy Head of Retail Department has been named Head of Retail in Poland.

Charles Taylor, Managing Partner of Cushman & Wakefield in Poland, said: “We are delighted to be able to capitalize on Piotr’s leadership skills, experience, deep market knowledge and client contacts. Piotr will be fully responsible for the day to day leadership and operation of the Polish Capital Markets team, whilst liaising closely with James Chapman who transferred at the end of last year to Warsaw to coordinate the firm’s Capital Markets activities across the CE region. Marek Noetzel will take over the leadership of the Polish retail team, building upon the fantastic track record that Piotr and the team have developed over the last 16 years.”

Piotr Kaszyński joined Cushman & Wakefield's Warsaw office in 1998 and has led the Polish retail team since 1999. He graduated from FAU, USA. Piotr and his team has been involved in leasing space in over 40 retail properties in Poland, including the main shopping centres in Warsaw (Galeria Mokotów, Złote Tarasy, Wola Park, Promenada, Klif, Reduta) and in other cities across Poland (such as Stary Browar and Galeria Malta in Poznań, Galeria Kazimierz in Kraków, Millenium Hall in Rzeszów, IKEA Bielany and Arkady Wrocławskie in Wrocław, Forum Radunia in Gdańsk or Atrium Felicity in Lublin among others). In recognition of the team’s achievements, the C&W Retail Department has received numerous professional awards.

Marek Noetzel joined Cushman & Wakefield's Polish office in 2002. He is a graduate of Economics Department of the University of Gdańsk. He also studied in Dublin Institute of Technology and in Sheffield Hallam University in Real Estate Investment and Management Department. He holds MRICS title. Marek has 12 years of experience in the commercial real estate market. He has successfully cooperated with companies such as IKEA, Carrefour, Dixons, Braaten + Pedersen Plus Partners, Quinlan Private Golub, Neinver, Multi Development, Galeria Neptun and St Martins.
