PKP Informatyka has leased 532 sq m of office space in Skanska Property Poland’s Malta House in Poznań. The tenant was represented in this transaction by global property consultant Cushman & Wakefield.
PKP Informatyka of the PKP Group is Poland’s largest provider of IT services to transport and logistics companies. Its portfolio includes systems supporting ticket sales, passenger information distribution, transport services, infrastructure and business management. PKP Informatyka has been certified to the ISO 20000 IT Service Management System standard. In December 2012, it acquired 100% shares in Railway Communication Works (KZŁ) in Bydgoszcz, which offers, among others, dispatching communication systems, PA and monitoring systems for railway vehicles, ticket vending machines, and visual and voice information systems. Both companies make up the PKP Informatyka Group.
Malta House is a modern class A office building totalling nearly 16,000 sq m of lease space. It is the first office building in Poznań that has been LEED-certified at the highest Platinum level. The LEED certificate warrants that the building, apart from its minimum environmental footprint, offers efficient and tenant-friendly space. Malta House boasts excellent location, near the Maltańskie Lake and the city’s most popular recreational areas. It is located at 6 Arcybiskupa Antoniego Baraniaka Street, a major thoroughfare of Poznań. It also offers a patio garden and a roof terrace. Malta House was completed in mid-2013. The building was developed by Skanska Property Poland, a leading company offering green and innovative office schemes.
