Creative agency Connectmedica has extended its office lease in the Mokotów Nova building in Warsaw until 2020. The tenant was represented in the renegotiations by a leading global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield.

Founded in 2009, Connectmedica is a full-service agency combining the competences of an interactive and advertising agency with a special focus on integrated communication for pharmaceutical and health sectors. Its portfolio includes twenty leading pharmaceutical companies in Poland.

Apart from open space and glass-walled meeting rooms on the top floor of Mokotów Nova, Connectmedica also has its own television studio and a canteen. Its office is minimalist in style with white being the dominant colour. The office fit-out features a circular arrangement of four leather armchairs in the place of a traditional reception desk.

Barbara Skrzypczyk, Head of Administration, Connectmedica, said: “Our office is more than just a place where we work together for our clients. We have co-created its interior design to add an individual touch to it. Our employees feel good here and the office fit-out is a our distinctive mark. This is one of the reasons why we decided to remain here.”

Mokotów Nova is a complex of three class A office buildings at 22 Wołoska Street totalling 43,000 sq m of lease space. It was developed in two phases, the second being completed in early 2012. A year later Mokotów Nova was awarded a ‘Very Good’ BREEAM rating for sustainability. It is owned by Nova Investments Sp. z o.o., a special purpose vehicle of Curzon Capital Partners III LP., a fund of Tristan Capital Partners.

Artur Lis, Asset Manager, Tristan Capital Partners, said: “It’s our first renegotiation within just a year since our acquisition of Mokotów Nova from its developer. The fact that its current tenants choose to remain here is the best evidence that Mokotów Nova is an attractive office location on the increasingly competitive Warsaw market.”

Artur SutorArtur Sutor, Associate from the Office Department of Cushman & Wakefield, said: “In the course of the renegotiations the tenant also considered other locations available on the market. However, following our consultancy services, the renegotiated conditions satisfied both parties and the lease was successfully renewed.”
