Galeria Neptun in Starogard Gdański will open this Saturday. It will be the first large shopping centre in the Kociewie region, south of Gdańsk. Cushman & Wakefield, a leading global real estate services firm, is responsible for commercialization of Galeria Neptun.
Agnieszka Owsicka, Director of Galeria Neptun, said: “We are ready for the grand opening of Galeria Neptun, which will open its stores this Saturday. We have prepared a series of customer attractions accompanying this event.”
Both tenants and the owner of Galeria Neptun have prepared a large number of attractions for customers throughout the weekend. The shopping centre will be officially opened at 1 pm on Saturday. The most talented students of the Starogardzki poviat will be awarded Neptun’s Grants. The artistic program of the grand opening will include a cheerleading show, dance shows, a cabaret performance, artistic performances of children, and many competitions and quiz shows. Saturday’s highlight will be the concert of The Beatlmen, the top Polish Beatles tribute band, while Sunday’s closing concert will feature Przemek Radziszewski, the finalist of the last series of The Voice of Poland talent show. On top of that, Galeria Neptun tenants have prepared special offers for customers.
Agnieszka Owsicka, Director of Galeria Neptun, added: “After several years of hard work on the project we can finally open this largest and most modern shopping centre in Starogard Gdański and the region. We hope that great numbers will turn out this last weekend of April to join us to celebrate the opening of this scheme.”
Galeria Neptun has been developed at the site of the former footwear factory Neptun at the junction of Pomorska and Jana Pawła II streets in the downtown area of Starogard Gdański. It totals 54,000 sq m, of which 25,000 sq m is leasable space, and targets around 200,000 people living within its catchment area. Galeria Neptun also has an underground car park with more than 600 parking spaces. With its superb location it offers easy access from each part of the city.
Marek Noetzel, Partner, Head of Retail Department, Cushman & Wakefield, said: “We are very pleased with the commercialization process of Galeria Neptun. Despite the tough leasing market, we managed to create a strong tenant-mix to make this shopping centre a very attractive and competitive scheme. I’m confident that Galeria Neptun will become a strong shopping and leisure destination for inhabitants of both Starogard Gdański and the region. Customers will be able to spend free time in stores, the cinema, cafes and restaurants without having to travel to Tricity. I want to congratulate the investors on their determination to open the shopping centre, the tenants on their trust in us, and C&W’s team on such successful work.”
Galeria Neptun will be home to around 100 stores of various fashion and footwear brands, including H&M, Reserved, Monnari, Lee Wrangler, Diverse, Reporter Young, Giacomo Conti, CCC, Martes Sport, Cropp, House, Mohito, Sinsay, Triumph and Smyk. It will also house a Grycan ice-cream shop, an Alanya Kebab restaurant, an Apart jewellery shop, a Zoo Karina pet shop, stores of telecom operators Play, Plus, T-Mobile and Orange, as well as stores of nc+, Intermarche, Media Expert, EMPIK, Home & You, and many other retail and service outlets. Galeria Neptun’s entertainment and leisure offer includes a six-screen Cinema City, a Jupi Park family entertainment centre and a fitness club.
