Green Caffè Nero has extended its lease for its popular coffee house in the Metropolitan office building on Piłsudskiego Square in Warsaw until 2024. The coffee house has been expanded and refurbished, and now takes up more than 100 sq m. Cushman & Wakefield, a leading global real estate services firm, advised in the transaction.
The Green Caffè Nero coffee house is located on the ground floor of the Metropolitan office building and can be accessed from the central courtyard. In spring an outdoor seating area is arranged with a good view on the illuminated fountain. The 61 sq m coffee house was opened in 2011. The new lease was made for more than 100 sq m. Green Caffè Nero now has 28 coffee houses in various locations in Warsaw.
Constructed in 2003 according to Sir Norman Foster’s design, Metropolitan is located on Piłsudskiego Square in Warsaw. It has received a number of prestigious awards (the MIPIM Award 2004 in the Business Center category, RIBA Worldwide Award). The scheme was developed by Hines. Metropolitan provides 38,000 sq m of leasable area.
“We are pleased that Metropolitan has become an ideal location for Green Caffè Nero. The expansion of its coffee house comes in response to the impressive popularity of this place,” said Soren Rodian Olsen, Head of Office & Industrial Investments at Capital Markets of Cushman & Wakefield in Poland.
