Galeria Neptun has signed leases with two retailers Cliff Sport (116 sq m) and Abra Meble (590 sq m) and a pizzeria operator Gruby Benek (56 sq m). Global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield, which is responsible for commercialization of the scheme, represented the investor in negotiations with the tenants.

Cliff Sport is a multibrand retailer offering sports clothing, footwear and accessories of global brands such as Adidas, Nike, Puma, Reebok, New Balance, Converse, Vans, Roxy, Quiksilver, DC, Caterpillar, Merrell, K-Swiss, The North Face, Ipanema, Rider, and many others. It has been present on the Polish market since 1996 and has built a network of more than 30 brick-and-mortar stores and an online store. Last year Cliff Sport also began cooperation with Salveo Sport, the exclusive representative of the Lonsdale brand in Poland.

With 100 stores in 93 towns and cities across the country, Abra Meble is one of the biggest furniture retailers in Poland offering home furniture to millions of customers for more than 25 years. Abra was founded in Krakow in 1990 and is now a leading furniture brand in Poland. It opens new stores every year and has a growing number of satisfied customers.

Founded in 1997, Gruby Benek has operated as a franchise business since 2005. It currently has more than 50 pizzerias across Poland, both in the largest cities such as Warsaw, Łódź, Wrocław and Poznań, and in smaller towns, including Augustów, Bartoszyce, Starachowice and Tczew. In addition to operating sit-in restaurants, Gruby Benek also offers delivery services. Gruby Benek is the fifth foodcourt tenant of Galeria Neptun.

Magdalena Kliwer, Director of Galeria Neptun, said: “Our broad offer is clearly a strong magnet that attracts families to Galeria Neptun. The growing footfall confirms its increasing importance as a major shopping and entertainment centre both in Starogard and the whole region.”

Galeria Neptun has been developed at the site of the former footwear factory Neptun at the junction of Pomorska and Jana Pawła II streets in the downtown area of Starogard Gdański. It totals 54,000 sq m, of which 25,000 sq m is leasable space, and targets around 200,000 people living within its catchment area. Galeria Neptun also has an underground car park with more than 600 parking spaces. With its superb location it offers easy access from each part of the city. The shopping centre’s tenants include Intermarche, Media Expert, Empik, Smyk, six brands of LPP S.A. (Reserved, Sinsay, Mohito, House, Cropp and Home&You), H&M, a KFC restaurant, a six-screen Cinema City, a Honolulu play area and a gym and fitness club Good Luck Club.

Tomasz Lipiński, a negotiator from the Retail Department of Cushman & Wakefield, said: “Thanks to its tailor-made approach to retailers Galeria Neptun is able to attract new tenants. The Cliff Sport and Abra Meble stores and the Gruby Benek pizzeria are a great addition to the brands that are already present in this shopping centre.”

Galeria Neptun Sp. z o.o. Sp. k. is the developer of the shopping centre while Dekpol Sp. z o.o. is the general contractor. Cushman & Wakefield is the exclusive agent responsible for the commercialization of the scheme.
