Global real estate advisors Cushman & Wakefield and JLL have been appointed as Leasing and Marketing Agencies of all Globe Trade Centre S.A.’s retail space in Poland. The companies will be responsible for acquiring tenants and lease renewals at Galeria Północna, Galeria Wilanów and Galeria Jurajska. This is an innovative solution to assign two agencies to all projects of a single developer.

Located in the Warsaw district of Białołęka, Galeria Północna is already attracting popular brands. The tenants will include the LPP Group, Carrefour, FOREVER 21 and H&M, as well as Cinema City in the entertainment zone. The centre will offer ca. 64,000 sq m of leasable area and 2,000 parking spaces, providing customers with recreation facilities, such as a public garden on the roof, walking paths and a playground. The investment is to open in Q2 2017.

Galeria Wilanów will be the first new-generation shopping centre in the south of Warsaw, offering ca. 250 retail and services units on 61,000 sq m, including Carrefour, H&M, FOREVER 21 and the LPP Group. The underground and roof parking areas will provide space for ca. 2,200 cars.

Galeria Północna and Galeria Wilanów were designed by renowned studios: APA Wojciechowski and Moshe Tzur. In order to confirm their status as two of the greenest buildings in their class in Poland, GTC is planning to obtain LEED Gold certification for the two properties.

Galeria Jurajska opened in October 2009 at Wojska Polskiego 207 in Częstochowa as GTC’s third retail & entertainment centre in Poland and the first modern scheme of this kind in the city. With almost 200 renowned tenants on 130,000 sq m (including 49,000 sq m of retail & entertainment area), the customers can enjoy the multi-screen Cinema City and brands such as Alma, LPP and Inditex Groups, TK Maxx, C&A, RTV Euro AGD, Intersport, Empik, H&M, New Yorker, Smyk, Rossmann, Sephora, Super Pharm, Douglas, Promod, Trussardi or Apart. Apart from the multi-level parking for 2,000 cars, there are several bus stops in direct vicinity of the centre.

Globe Trade Centre S.A. has so far developed 12 shopping centres with the total area of over 1 million sq m, and is currently managing 7 schemes. The Group’s portfolio includes buildings such as Galeria Mokotów (Warsaw), Galeria Kazimierz (Kraków), Galeria Jurajska (Częstochowa), Avenue Mall (Zagreb) and Harfa (Prague).

“The GTC group is one of the leading global developers, renowned among investors and fashion brands. Galeria Północna and Galeria Wilanów are set to become iconic retail & entertainment centres in their respective districts of Warsaw, while Galeria Jurajska in Częstochowa is already enjoying its leading position in the region. We are honoured to support GTC with our rich experience on the international commercial real estate market,” said Renata Kusznierska, Head of Retail Agency at Cushman & Wakefield Poland.
