Cushman & Wakefield, a global real estate advisor, has been appointed as Property Manager of another project by Waimea Holding S.A. The first of three production halls at Waimea Logistic Park Korczowa was opened in May, with a total area of 7,200 sq m. When completed, the property will offer 50,000 sq m.
Waimea Logistic Park Korczowa is being constructed on a 12 ha site in Młyny, Subcarpathia, 3 km from the largest border crossing between Poland and Ukraine in Korczowa. The site is located right at the A4 motorway.
The complex comprises production and logistics halls, with offices and parking areas. In the future, the park will offer shipping and customs services, currency exchange and food establishments. The project is complemented by extensive infrastructure, including a large yard for lorries and passenger cars, guarded parking for lorries, 24/7 lorry services, and a rest area with a canteen for drivers.
“We are proud to provide prospective tenants with the second logistics scheme developed by Waimea Holding S.A. to be managed by Cushman & Wakefield. Our new investment serves as the best example of the dynamic growth of the Polish logistics sector and bodes well for the industry’s outlook. The park’s location at the A4 motorway, which forms part of the main transit corridor between eastern and western Europe, will generate a higher demand for warehouse space in Subcarpathia,” said Andrzej Rosiński, President of Waimea Holding S.A.
“Thanks to our long-standing cooperation with Waimea Holding we have been able to quickly adapt to the client’s standards and requirements. This is our second project together; the first scheme, with 64,000 sq m under our management, is located in Szczecin,” added Aneta Rogowicz-Gała, Partner, Head of Business Development, Asset Services at Cushman & Wakefield.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Asset Services is one of the leading commercial property management teams in Poland. It specialises in modern office, retail and warehouse real estate. Currently, the department has over 1.5 million sq m under management.
