Cushman & Wakefield appointed manager of Galeria Orkana in Lublin

Cushman & Wakefield, a global real estate services firm, was appointed manager of Galeria Orkana in Lublin in August 2016. The shopping centre is owned by real estate group CPI Property Group.

Galeria Orkana is a two-level shopping centre located in Lublin at the junction of Władysława Orkana and Zwycięska streets. It offers building area of 17,000 sq m of floorspace for about 50 retail stores, restaurants and service outlets of top brands, including Reserved, Orsay, W. Kruk, Vistula, Sinsay, Jysk, CCC, Rossmann, and the Cukiernia Sowa cake shop, the first in the Lubelskie province. It also provides 220 underground and surface parking spaces. Galeria Orkana has become a social point for many Lubliners for its regular social and cultural events such as free medical examinations for seniors and 4D ultrasound scanning for pregnant women. Constructed in 2006, Galeria Orkana has been managed by Cushman & Wakefield since August 2016.

CPI Property Group established cooperation with the Czech office of Cushman & Wakefield in January 2012. Cushman & Wakefield now has nearly 160,000 sq m of seven shopping centres under management in the Czech Republic (Quadrio, FÉNIX, IGY České Budějovice, Olympia Teplice, City Park Jihlava, OC Spektrum and Olympia Mladá Boleslav).
