The Polish office of global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield has announced this month eight promotions to Associate and Associate Director awarded to its eight professionals across a range of departments, including Marketing, Retail Agency, Industrial and Logistics Agency and Asset Services.

Marta Bakier-Derda was promoted to Associate. Marta joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2012 and was initially responsible for financial control in a team dedicated to CBRE GI’s portfolio. She now manages a team of experienced financial analysts responsible for controlling property maintenance costs in the Asset Services Department. Her team also prepares complex financial analyses and reports for Asset Services clients. Marta has 13 years of professional experience, including five years in the real estate industry. Before joining Cushman & Wakefield, she had focused on business process analysis and optimization. Marta had been involved in implementation of ERP systems and Business Intelligence tools in dozens of Polish and multinational corporations. She is a graduate of Management and Marketing as well as IT of the Białystok University of Technology, and an Affiliate of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
Katarzyna Bojanowicz was promoted to Associate. Katarzyna is a Senior Negotiator in Cushman & Wakefield’s Industrial and Logistics Agency in Poland. She is responsible for warehouse space leasing and advisory services for clients in Warsaw and Central Poland. Katarzyna had previously worked as a residential and commercial property consultant. During her studies she gained professional experience in marketing and sales at Zbyszko. Katarzyna completed the Warsaw School of Economics and graduated in Management from the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow.
Wojciech Dachniewski was promoted to Associate. Wojciech is a Senior Negotiator in Cushman & Wakefield’s Industrial and Logistics Agency in Poland. He is responsible for warehouse and industrial space leasing, maintaining contacts with developers and tenants, client advisory and supervision over projects in Southern Poland, including the key local markets of Upper and Lower Silesia, Krakow and Rzeszów. Wojciech gained professional experience as a real estate assistant at real estate agency Polanowscy Sp. z o.o. He had previously worked as a director at W-Fono Sp. z o.o. Wojciech is a graduate of the Leon Koźmiński University, where he also completed postgraduate studies. He is also a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM).
Aneta Krutkowska was promoted to Associate. Aneta is Head of Corporate Accounting with 19 years of experience in accounting, including 12 years with DTZ/Cushman & Wakefield. Since August 2011 she has been in charge of Corporate Accounting of Cushman & Wakefield’s Asset Services and is also the firm’s Chief Accountant. Aneta has a licence of the Polish Ministry of Finance to provide bookkeeping services and manages a five-member team. Her professionalism and commitment have been confirmed by favourable opinions of both clients and external auditors. Aneta graduated in Economics from Warsaw University.
Karolina Samczyńska-Fiślak was promoted to Associate Director in Cushman & Wakefield’s Marketing Department. Karolina has eight years of experience in commercial real estate marketing. She is responsible for pitch management and development and preparation of related sales strategies. Through active consulting and marketing she successfully supports Cushman & Wakefield’s business processes to create value for clients and to strengthen the firm’s position and image. Karolina is actively involved in Cushman & Wakefield’s transaction team and co-creates marketing campaigns for major investment deals in Poland. She is a graduate of the Warsaw University of Technology and completed postgraduate studies at the Warsaw School of Economics.
Marta Słysz was promoted to Associate. Marta joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2014 and is now a Senior Consultant in the firm’s Retail Agency. She has ten years of experience in commercial real estate, acting both for real estate agents and developers. She has gained professional experience with Carrefour as Head of Commercialization, DTZ and Metro Properties. Marta also has experience in leasing both newly-built and existing shopping centres, development of tenant mix concepts and rent projections for retail schemes coming onto the market or being recommercialized. Her key accounts include GTC S.A. and Pradera. Marta holds a real estate agent’s licence no. 15614.
Justyna Wrona was promoted to Associate. Justyna has experience in retail, office and warehouse real estate. She has worked for Cushman & Wakefield (formerly DTZ) since October 2013 and has been Property Portfolio Manager of its Asset Services Department since 2015. She heads the team responsible for management of three shopping centres, three office buildings and a logistics park. Justyna is a licensed property manager. She graduated in Law and Administration from Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw and completed postgraduate studies in property valuation at the Warsaw University of Technology.
Sylwia Wiszowata-Łazarz was promoted to Associate. Sylwia has over 18 years of professional experience in PR and marketing, including 11 years of marketing for shopping centres and office buildings. She is a licensed property manager and a certified business and life coach. Sylwia has developed and executed marketing campaigns for more than 70 shopping centres across Poland and over a dozen office buildings. She has experience in marketing new schemes, creating marketing strategies, positioning and rebranding of shopping centres and office buildings in more demanding local markets. Sylwia has excellent expertise of changing consumer trends. Her area of responsibility includes tenant relationship management for both retail and office schemes. Sylwia is also an in-house business coach for tenants of shopping centres under Cushman & Wakefield’s management.
