On 25-29 September global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield has run the first edition of the WellBeing@Work programme, which aims to promote wellness and holistically healthy lifestyle among its employees. Activities included workshops on healthy eating, mindfulness, stress management and interdepartmental knowledge sharing as well as yoga classes, meditation sessions and massage.
Each day of the WellBeing@Work week provided Cushman & Wakefield’s employees with new initiatives and challenges. Monday featured wellbeing and life balance trainings. Tuesday was dedicated to launching a new social networking platform, encouraging employees to build more activity into their working habits and to make healthier lifestyle choices. During an integration party at the Teatro Cubano on Wednesday evening the employees had the opportunity to take part in Cuban-style salsa lessons. On Thursday nutrition and first aid classes were run. Friday was the relaxation day offering massage, yoga classes and meditation sessions. During the whole week the employees could find themselves tested in a specially designed adventure game, Escape Room.
- We wanted to organize some exciting things that people could actually get involved in and spend more time together. The week was aimed to promote not only healthy habits but also improving interpersonal relations. We are looking to tie the WellBeing@Work programme into our worplace culture – said Kinga Bloch, HR Director at Cushman & Wakefield.
