During the first weekend when Forum Gdańsk was opened, it attracted close to 180 thousand visitors. Even the investor did not expect such a high turnout during the two days.
On Saturday, 26 May, Forum Gdansk for the first time opened its door to the residents of Gdańsk and the tourists. The number of people who decided to see the biggest commercial and services centre has exceeded all expectations. The number of visitors on the first day was approximately 92 thousand people and over 85 thousand people on the second day.
Cushman & Wakefield and JLL were responsible for the commercialization of Forum Gdańsk.
— I am happy that we have opened an incredible public space. As we declared before, it is a place combining leisure activities and relaxation, where you can buy fashionable items of many favourite brands, have a meal, sit under a chestnut tree, have a coffee, and at the same time admire the beautiful historic panorama of Gdansk, said Magdalena Gibney, Forum Gdansk Director. — We have done everything to make our visitors feel particularly well here. The clients appreciated also the tenants’ offer – attractive and diversified. It was worth putting all that effort and heart to see the admiration on the faces of the people who honoured us with their presence on the opening day. The high turnout shows that both local people and tourists want to spend their time here —Magdalena Gibney adds.
