Deichmann has officially renewed its 546.55 sq m lease at the Plejada Shopping Centre in Sosnowiec. Global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield advised on the transaction.
The Plejada Sosnowiec Shopping Centre was constructed in 2001. It is anchored by many leading fashion brands, electronics and home appliances retailers, food stores and services, including a hairdresser’s, a pharmacy, a travel agency and a drycleaner’s. The complex also features a food court with a vast array of restaurants and cafés.
“The lease renewal is not only a continuation of successful cooperation, but also an opportunity for a new opening as it coincides with the planned renovation of the store. This will benefit mainly Plejada customers who will enjoy an enhanced shopping experience in a revamped store,” said landlord representative Izabela Sekrecka, Senior Consultant, Retail Agency, Cushman & Wakefield.
Deichmann is a global footwear retailer with nearly 4,000 stores on 26 markets. It has nearly 40,000 employees. In 2017, Deichmann sold 176 million pairs of shoes worldwide, almost 700,000 more than a year earlier. This year, it intends to open 208 new stores and to refurbish another 208.
