  • Key promotions to key positions in the Office Agency of Cushman & Wakefield in Poland and CEE

    In early October 2018, global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield announced promotions to key positions in its Office Agency in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). The Office Agency team in Poland will be led by Krzysztof Misiak, previously the firm’s Head of Regional Cities. His key responsibilities will include operational management and integration of operational objectives of the office team across Poland.

    Richard Aboo will continue as Head of Office CEE with responsibility for further development of all business lines with a special focus on co-working and PropTech. He will also remain the main contact person in business relations with clients in the CEE region.Richard Aboo has worked for global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield since the early days of his professional career in the commercial property industry in Poland. For more than 20 years he has been responsible for business strategy development and building the office agency team. He has cooperated with both real estate landlords and tenants, and closed more than 1.2 million sq m of lease transactions. His most recent and prestigious mandates on the Warsaw office market include Millennium Bank (18,500 sq m), Citibank (18,500 sq m) and WeWork (29,000 sq m). Since 2016 he is very much involved in CEE markets helping strengthen firm’s position with respect to cooperation with office developers and key occupiers.

    Krzysztof Misiak has also worked for global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield since the early days of his professional career in the commercial property industry in Poland. He has been a key member of the firm’s office agency team for more than 11 years. Since November 2012, Krzysztof has been Head of Regional Cities and successfully launched the Cushman & Wakefield brand on Poland’s core regional markets; he has recently opened the firm’s local office in Lublin. Krzysztof has become one of the best-known professionals on the Polish commercial real estate market. He has acted on more than 280 leases for a total of 475,000 sq m. His clients include Capgemini, State Street, Infosys, Kemira, Brown Brothers Harriman Thomson Reuters, Takeda, Generali, Millennium Bank, Unilever, Deloitte, Axa, Citi, Bank Handlowy and UPC.
