The 7th Property Forum held in Warsaw hosted a launch for “The Guide For Companies Providing Modern Business Services”, prepared by global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield and Hays Poland in cooperation with HB Reavis and Bene.
According to ABSL, the modern business services sector will employ more than 300,000 staff by 2020. Warsaw boasts the highest number of multinational companies, but business services centres are also being set up in other cities, including Krakow, Wrocław, Poznań, Katowice, Łódź, Tricity, and smaller towns such as Rzeszów and Lublin. They deliver services in four core market segments: business process outsourcing (BPO), shared services centres (SSC), IT and R&D.
Business services centres are one of the fastest growing sectors of Poland’s economy. Choosing the right office that meets the requirements of a modern company and its employees is therefore a key success factor in the current business environment.
The publication prepared by Cushman & Wakefield and Hays Poland, supported by Bene and HB Reavis, presents valuable advice on choosing an optimum location, new office fit-out, and legal and HR activities. It provides second-to-none support to all companies intending to open new services centres.
The guide offers advice on how best to prepare for setting up a business services centre, how to leverage the location to build an attractive employer brand, make an office a key element of employee branding and retain top talent, and what current trends are affecting the office space market in Poland. The report also includes basic information regarding legal aspects of setting up a business, labour law issues, lease agreements, state aid and grants.
